Another, more popular option to retain the lower denture today is the placing implants. If the implant is placed before loss a jaw bone structure, it appears that the implant may serve to maintain the jaw. Also the advantage of the implant is the caries resistance compare with natural root. For more stability the four implants can be placed on the lower jaw. Ideally four placed implants that are distributed far from each other would provide four points of contact upon which denture support will be ideal.
